Brooks received several awards at the band banquet. One of the most prestigious was the honors band, only he and two of his peers made it! He loves music and we love to see his passion for it! He plays two instruments now and will be adding another next year!
We are so very proud of John Jr. He made straight A's all year as well as scoring the highest rating, a 5, on the FCAT Test. He loves school and told us his goal is to make straight A's all the way through 12th grade!
Jr loves Grandma's hashbrown casserole so much that he called her and asked her to bring the ingredients over and teach him how to make it. It was delicious!
You could really feel the Lord's presence at the Easter Vigil, here Jay is being Baptized by Father Boddie. John was his sponsor in the RCIA program at our church.
Brooks and his friend, Michael are very happy to see their rating of three straight superiors at Solo and Ensemble competition. Brooks plays the trumpet and Michael the saxophone. OPJH did the best! We are very proud of them!
