Jr loves the cubs

Jr wears his authentic cubs baseball cap as he watches them play. His dad said his father use to wear one too during the games. It touched our heart that he did this on his own.

Dynamic Duo

The boys enjoyed time together as their siblings went off to school. Here they are sharing popcorn and a movie.

Off they go!

Aunt Sandy will be taking the children to school each day and bringing them home too. They have a great routine set up for breakfast and homework in her room. It should be a wonderful year!

Jr is still sleepy on his first day of fourth grade!

Note he has socks on too tired to find his shoes!

Ready for the first day of first grade!

The Princess

E had to have a pedicure and a manicure before school started!

Build A Bear

E really enjoyed her Build a Bear reward that she received for having a great report card last school year. We thought we would do it the day before school started so she would have incentive for a repeat performance.

Brooks' Back To School Bash

Brooks had a back to school party with his friends on Saturday. He has a nice group of peers and we were happy to have them over.

The pool Shark

Brooks is really good at pool and thrilled that we were able to get one.

OPHS Marching Band Season Begins!

We were all really impressed with the marching band program at the High School. They blew us away. Brooks is going to be very busy with his music and we are all very proud of him. Come check them out at a football game this season.

Big John was so inspired he tried on the tuba and wants to march in the band. But we all know he marches to his own drum!

Hank is Home- Prayers are Answered

We had a scare Tuesday night. Hank got out of the fence somehow and was gone for more than 12 hours. Jr was devastated- he cried and cried. I told him all he could do was pray. Daddy searched for more than two hours. Prayers were answered when a good Samaritan called our vet, luckily he had his tag on! After she rescued him from the streets, we went to her house and brought him back home.

Teams Retreat at Lake George on Marriage

We are all ready to work togther, trust each other and explore the beauty of God's love in this really natural setting. We all are also truly blessed that we have opened our hearts and placed trust in the Holy Spirit. Our TEAMS group feels we know the direction he leads us to will be a continued conversion I give the Lord praise for leading us to each other and to the expeiriences that will play a dramatic part of our continued conversion. We are blessed to have Father Reming lead us on our way too!

Our Teams Retreat at Lake George

We began our retreat and ended it celebrating Mass. John got to go back to his altar boy roots. It was a special time to reflect on God's Love, our marriages, and also to be challenged to seek knowledge that will make us all better disciples for Christ.

Our Summer Vacation

We decided to take a historical tour this summer of the following sites: Washington D.C., Mt. Vernon, Gettysburg, Philadelphia, and the Pocano's. We had a wonderful time. We saw so much and learned so much more. It is a vacation our children will never forget.

Jr was selected from all the visitors to be the Corporal for George Washington's army at a mock call to arms.

I am in a picture!

We celebrated the 4th of July in Philadelphia, PA!

Hiding from the rain we had a great view of D.C.

At Arlington cemetery we were able to witness the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier.

Mt. Vernon was absolutely beautiful.
