Breakfast in Bed

Brooks was the mastermind behind treating me with Breakfast in bed for my birthday. He is taking the photo here. They made waffles, pancakes, eggs, toast, and fruit all served on a silver platter! It was a wonderful way to wake up to my birthday.

Rocking to Journey

The new front man sounds just like Steve Perry!

I enjoyed taking Brooks to his first rock concert. He amazed me because he knew all the words to the Journey songs! He was not shy-he sang and cheered on the band, it was great!

And Here Comes the Character Parade

At the children's elementary school, they have a character parade on Halloween. The children have to bring a book and dress up as a character in the book. Elizabeth dressed up as Cinderella and Jr dressed up as a ghost from a ghost town he read about.

Jr is having a ghostly good time!

BAND NEWS

This is what Brooks' Band director was proud to announce about the contest they just did!

I would like to congratulate all band members on their fine performance Saturday at the Middleburg contest. The Raider Band placed 1st in class 4A (beating last years class 3A state runner up) and came in 3rd overall in visual performance at finals. I would also like to tell all students how much I appreciated your great behavior throughout the day. It makes my job so much more enjoyable when I can work with students who are well behaved and professional. You all represented OPHS very well and I’m looking forward to next Saturday’s competition at Fernandina Beach. A big thanks goes out to the parents as well, chaperones, pit crew, and all those who came out to support us. It was great seeing so many parents in the stands cheering us on. I hope to see you all again next week in Fernandina!

Thanks, Mr. Creswell

Our Billy

Please continue to keep Bill Sebastian, his wife Kelly, his beautiful children Alex, Kassie, Connor, and Colby and all of his friends in your prayers. Our Bill was an incredible man, husband, father, and friend. Mere words cannot begin to define his life. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. He always said all things were possible through Jesus Christ. I know with all my heart he is in heaven , our guardian angel, watching over us and waiting for us to join him one day.

Some of our Handy Work

Did I mention that I recruited two Steelers fans to help me out with this prank?

Are you Ready for some FOOTBALL?

Benny is dressed out and ready for the Steelers game. We spent the evening planning a prank on our friends, Joe and Sandy. They are big Steelers fans so we just had to deck out their house and cars in Jaguar fashion for the game tonight. Benny was ready to rumble!

Pool Tournament

The children challenged their grandmother's to a game of pool. Each grandmother took home a win!

Happy Birthday Nana

We had nana over for dinner for her Birthday. Elizabeth made the cake all by herself, carefully reading the directions on the back of the box.
